2. Janine returns to her old tricks
Janine may have found her match in nephew Liam next week, as they join forces to form a ruthless plan.
After being rejected for a job by Jay, Janine fills Liam in on her scheme. He is soon putting the plan in motion and bigs up Janine's selling skills to Jay, who naively takes the bait.
3. Peter supports Ash
Ash is still reeling over what happened with Harvey and is supported by Peter – who has his own problems in regards to Liam.
Peter tries to help Ash deal with what happened with Harvey but crossed wires soon alert Kat to the situation.
When Kat pushes for answers, Ash reveals what Harvey said, leaving Kat floored.
4. Kat fires Harvey
Horrified following her conversation with Ash, Kat finds Harvey in The Vic and promptly sacks him. Harvey desperately tries to defend himself, but she isn't having any of it.
Harvey is then forced to explain what happened to Dana, who urges him to be more careful about things he says causing upset.
Taking Dana's words on board, Harvey apologies to Ash and they are able to clear the air.
5. Harvey's problems intensify
Although Ash is willing to accept Harvey's apology, a furious Peter isn't so forgiving and chucks him out.
Harvey relays his day from hell to Kathy and explains how Peter has only made things worse – unaware that it's not over yet. That's because Harvey is furious to discover that Dana has been staying at the Beales' – lying to him – and quickly storms out.
With Harvey's life in tatters, Dana tells her dad he needs to make amends with everyone and she’ll try to help him get his job back.
6. Billy gives Janine an ultimatum
As Janine ups the ante with her scheming, Billy is not so easily fooled. Aware of what she is up to, Billy gives her an ultimatum – quit the plan or he'll tell Jay everything.
Always one step ahead, Janine somehow manages to find a way to get what she wants, though.
7. Meet Aaron!
EastEnders viewers will be introduced to newcomer Aaron next week, played by former Hollyoaks star Charlie Wernham.
Aaron is the son of Harvey and brother of Dana, and will be ruffling a few feathers upon his arrival in Walford.
At the cab office, Aaron arrives much to Harvey's delight but Dana isn't as impressed to see her brother.
As he gets acquainted with the area, Aaron gives Harvey some bad advice and rudely snaps at Dana for not taking their dad's side – leaving her feeling humiliated.
8. Gray gets sad news
EastEnders kicks off a new chapter for Gray next week, as he learns that his dad has passed away.
As we saw recently, Gray wasn't close to his father but the news knocks him for six and finds himself confiding in Whitney.
Going through his dad's belongings, Gray is touched when he finds some childhood memories and kisses Whitney.
Karen is over the moon to see Gray and Whitney together, but is Whitney making a grave mistake?
9. New romance for Tiffany?
Upon arriving in Walford, there's one female who immediately catches Aaron's eye – Tiffany. Aaron makes a beeline for Tiffany but Liam is instantly protective.
Undeterred, Aaron tells her that he plans to be in Walford for a bit but she tells Liam it's too soon for her to be dating after Keegan.
Harvey fills Aaron in about Bobby as he tells his dad he wants to stay for a while – he's spotted someone that's caught his eye.
Biting the bullet, Aaron later asks Tiffany out for a date and she agrees – but is she really ready to move on from Keegan?
