Geekie got loose on a partial breakaway and buried the game-tying goal at 7:58 of the third period to erase a 3-0 deficit. The Golden Knights answered with the game-winner just 35 seconds later, but Geekie's still got his first goal as a Kraken. The 23-year-old established himself with nine points, 30 shots on goal and 28 hits in 36 contests with the Hurricanes last year. He's poised to play a larger role in 2021-22 -- the Manitoba native logged 14:46 of ice time while centering the third line Tuesday.
