The Marshall County Tech School JROTC Program is holding a virtual fundraiser through Oct. 21st.
The program, which currently has 42 cadets, teaches high school students the values of good citizenship while giving them the introduction to the military.
"They all have a very diverse interest in the program and we have some who definitely want to enlist in the Armed Forces upon graduating," said Colonel John Whitmire.
Funds from the virtual fundraiser will go to various things for the program throughout the rest of the year.
"Before the end of the fall semester, we will be going to Etowah High School's JROTC program to do a Rifle & Archery Competition, conducting a 5K Ruck March at the Guntersville State Park and conducting a Cadet Challenge Physical Fitness Assessment here at the Marshall County Tech School," Whitmire continued.
The virtual fundraiser runs through Oct 21st.
