Tim Anderson is one of the most electric players in the MLB, and not just because of his bat flips. Anderson’s skill set as a rangy defender with a cannon and the ability to hit for average, in addition to his power, are some of the best tools in the MLB. TA now has a superb start to his postseason career that includes breaking records for the most hits in a player’s first six games or any six-game postseason span.

  • Tim Anderson has recorded the most Hits (16) over any 6-GP span in MLB Postseason history
  • Anderson has the most GP (5) with 3+ Hits in a player’s 1st 6 career Postseason GP in MLB history
  • In 2019, TA was the 1st White Sox player to win the batting title (.335) since Frank Thomas (1997)

TIM ANDERSON IS OFF TO A HISTORIC START TO HIS MLB POSTSEASON CAREER

COLORS KEY | FULL WHITE SOX OUTLOOK

Tim Anderson has not played many postseason games, but has made the most of his limited opportunities thus far. He is off to a superb six-game stretch to begin his postseason career, which includes the most Hits (16) and most GP (five) with three or more Hits ever. Anderson’s introduction to October is one of the best things to happen to the MLB given his star appeal, which the MLB postseason currently doesn’t have much of.

If TA can continue his torrid six-game stretch, the White Sox could go deep in the playoffs with a strong offense and hard-throwing pitching core. The offense should put up enough runs on the board, but the uncertainty is if their pitching can hold up against a contact-central team like the Houston Astros. The White Sox can sit comfortably knowing they have a superstar locked up under contract for the next four years.
