There are some names that have emerged in waivers around the NBA that could hold some level of appeal for the Chicago Bulls in the last week or so. Going back even further than that, any spots that the Bulls are looking to fill on the roster in the midst of the latter stages of Training Camp and the preseason should be done right now.

Some big names that emerged on waivers that the Bulls didn’t get to sign in the last few weeks included the likes of Los Angeles Clippers guard Terance Mann, new Milwaukee Bucks guard Amir Coffey, and namely former Detroit Pistons forward Sekou Doumbouya.

My personal favorite free agent target the Bulls could’ve potentially gone after of late among the players that hit waivers was Doumbouya. The Pistons dealt him to the Houston Rockets in a trade just ahead of the start of the preseason. But the Rockets turned around and waived Doumbouya right away. That allowed the Los Angeles Lakers to pick him up on a two-way contract.

Is there anyone left for the Chicago Bulls to sign in the late stages of Training Camp and the preseason

It is worth noting that executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley still have one of the two-way contract slots available ahead of the start of the regular season. One of the two-way contracts is occupied by point guard Devon Dotson, and the other is open right now.

The Bulls also moved closer to finalizing the roster this week by waiving the likes of center Daniel Oturu and rookie combo guard Ethan Thompson. But there are some names that are worth considering for the Bulls that could still add depth to the bench heading into the regular season.

Here’s a look into three recently waived players by other teams around the NBA that could appeal to the Bulls.
