Correa fires back at Tepera's 'disrespectful' comments originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
Before Game 4 of the ALDS, Astros shortstop Carlos Correa said he had "no thoughts" on recent controversial comments by White Sox reliever Ryan Tepera.
"We're ready to play Game 4, and we're trying to win this game, so I'm not going to get into it right now," Correa said Tuesday morning.
He didn't wait long after the game to get into it.

Correa fired back at Tepera after the Astros' 10-1 series-clinching win on the South Side, offering up a piece of advice
"I encourage the players to, when you're going to talk sh-- to other teams, state facts," said Correa, who went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs Tuesday, on the field postgame.
"If you don't state facts, then you lose credibility in this game."
Tepera all but said after Sunday's White Sox win the Astros might be stealing signs after the Astros' increased number of swings and misses and strikeouts in Game 3 at Guaranteed Rate Field, compared to Games 1 and 2 in Houston — a nod to their electronic sign-stealing scandal from 2017.
"They’ve obviously had a reputation of doing some sketchy stuff over there," Tepera said.
Astros manager Dusty Baker called the comments "heavy accusations" Monday, while third baseman Alex Bregman said Houston was "just focused on winning games."
Houston won Tuesday, and Correa — who called Tepera's comments "disrespectful" on the postgame broadcast — implied they gave the Astros added motivation.
"It's unfortunate that he had to say those words, because we came out here hungry," Correa said.
