Brewers finally end their 22-inning scoring drought vs. Braves in the NLDS

Mike Hart
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

The long nightmare is over.

The Milwaukee Brewers ended their futility with men on base in the fourth inning Tuesday against Atlanta in Game 4 of the National League Division Series.

Omar Narváez was the toast of the town as he delivered an RBI single to end the team's 0-for-20 skid with runners in scoring position. Milwaukee had gone 22 innings without scoring dating back to Game 1 of the best-of-five series.

Then Lorenzo Cain joined the fun with an RBI single of his own to give the Brewers a 2-0 in the fourth inning.

So they scored twice in less than five minutes.
