Ontario County Public Health: 3 new COVID-19 deaths, 25 new cases Tuesday

HOPEWELL -- Ontario County Public Health is reporting 25 new community-acquired COVID-19 cases and three new deaths Oct. 12.

Five of the cases involved people under 18 years old and 35 new recoveries were noted Tuesday.

Since the start of the pandemic, 9,122 cases have been reported; 120 people have died and 8,806 people have recovered.

Ontario County remains in the High category for COVID-19 transmission, which is the highest level, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
