After His Breakup With Michelle, Brandon Is Ready To Find Love On BIP

Brandon Jones made it pretty far in Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette, but not quite far enough. He was the runner-up in Season 18 of The Bachelorette, so he left the show without a rose and without finding his person. But now, Brandon is back for Season 8 of Bachelor In Paradise, and he’s more serious than ever about falling in love.

According to Brandon’s ABC bio, “he knows exactly what he wants in life and is very serious about finding the one with whom to settle down.” That person wasn’t Michelle, but Brandon started out on BIP completely focused on someone new: Serene Russell. The good news for Brandon was that Serene was just as excited to meet him. “I really wanna see Brandon from Michelle's season,” she said, right before Brandon hit the beach. “I mean, if Brandon doesn't come down the stairs today, I will be a little disappointed."

Brandon and Serene did hit it off right away, as expected, and they even made out on the very first day on the beach. However, the BIP Season 8 trailer shows Brandon in tears, so it might not be entirely smooth sailing for him as the season continues.

Brandon was a frontrunner on Michelle’s Bachelorette season. He was open and honest with Michelle from the very beginning, and his goofy, easygoing personality won over both Michelle and fans. She did, and unfortunately for Brandon, that meant sending him home at the very end.

Brandon graduated from Western Oregon University in 2017 with a degree in business administration and management. According to Brandon’s official ABC bio, he works as a traveling nurse recruiter based out of Portland, Oregon. However, he said on BIP that he’s currently working as a personal trainer.

Brandon shared some more fun facts about himself in his ABC bio, like the fact that he once hopped onstage during a Lil Wayne and Drake concert. But let me stop you before you get the idea there’s nothing this guy won’t do. He *did* say he has no interest in ever going bungee jumping, so hopefully he doesn’t have to take any big leaps this season on BIP.
