Maryland State Police are investigating a crash involving a dump truck and a car Tuesday afternoon that led to the closure of Interstate 70 in Howard County.State police said a car rear-ended a dump truck around 2:15 p.m. on eastbound I-70 near Woodbine Road in Woodbine.Police said one person in the car was flown to Shock Trauma with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.No one else was hurt.The crash forced the closure of eastbound I-70 for a period of time. The Maryland State Highway Administration tweeted at 4:53 p.m. that both eastbound lanes were reopened.
