Portland Trail Blazers fans who have cut the cord will finally have a chance to watch their team’s games without signing up for a cable service when Root Sports Northwest is added to fuboTV this week.
While an exact date and time have yet to be given for the channel’s arrival on the streaming platform, fuboTV and Root Sports Northwest have committed to launching this week, well before the start of the NBA season. The Seattle Kraken’s first regular season game on Root Sports Northwest is set for 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, Oct. 14, against the Nashville Predators. The Portland Trail Blazers’ regular season debut on the network will be on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. PT when they host the Sacramento Kings in the team’s season-opener.
If Root arrives on fuboTV this week, there’s a chance that Trail Blazers fans would be able to watch Portland face the Suns in preseason action on Wednesday as well as the Blazers’ final preseason game against the Golden State Warriors on Oct. 15.
• You can try out fuboTV on a 7-day free trial to see if the streaming service works for you
