Izzy revealed: 'It's felt tougher on my body this pregnancy. I always have concerns in the back of my mind. When you've gone through struggles you never take pregnancy for granted again - you're never fully able to relax until the baby is here safely.'

The musician went on to admit that those concerns also have an impact of mothering itself, as she explained you become so focused on having a healthy pregnancy, you don't feel prepared for the baby's arrival.

Family unit: The violinist was expecting her third child after welcoming daughter Lola, five, through in vitro fertilization and conceiving son Kit, three, naturally

Izzy  revealed: 'I have a battle of feeling guilty when I find things tough in pregnancy.

'I'm so grateful to be pregnant but I have to be realistic and try not to feel guilty when I find things tough.

'I realised before that I'd not really had a chance to think about motherhood as I was so focused on feeling pregnant!'

Cute couple: The former Escala violinist met Harry when she joined McFly's 2005 concert tour and they married in 2012 - shortly after Izzy discovered she had trouble conceiving

Izzy suffers with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, a condition that affects a woman's oestrogen and progesterone levels causing cysts on the ovaries.

The former Escala violinist met Harry when she joined McFly's 2005 concert tour and they married in December 2012 following a seven-month engagement.

It was shortly after they tied the knot that Izzy discovered she had trouble conceiving.

After months of attempting to conceive naturally she turned to IVF when she was 30 and following the endless injections and hormones, Izzy's efforts paid off with her falling pregnant after her first round, but later suffered a miscarriage.

Following the heartbreak, Izzy became pregnant a number of months later with Lola, and they later welcomed Kit after conceiving naturally.

Izzy also conceived her unborn third child naturally, but she suffered a health scare this pregnancy when both she and Harry contracted Covid in April.

Feeling pressured: Izzy - who has has teamed up with the Joy of moving programme for the Ready, Steady, Play series - revealed that she won't be able to relax fully until she gives birth

Izzy revealed that she was admitted to hospital for chest pains, but her greatest concern was struggling to care for Lola and Kit while she and Harry felt so unwell themselves.

Now that restrictions are lifting, Izzy is keen to get the children out of the house, and has been double vaccinated, but is still cautious about adjusting to the outside world during a pandemic.

She explained: 'Leaving the house is difficult but I came to the decision that felt right for my family.

'Lola and Kit are out and about and it's difficult to stay isolated  so having had the vaccine I feel protected.'

Izzy also revealed that she was keen for her children to go out and be exposed to common illnesses such as the cold, noting that Kit really struggled with a cold earlier in the year as his immune system was weakened as a result of staying inside for so long.

While Izzy had her hands full keeping her children amused indoors, she recently partnered with the Joy of moving programme to create a new content series, featuring a range of fun and easy activities for families.

The initiative was launched following studies that showed 55 per cent of children in the UK do not meet the recommended guidelines of taking part in sport and physical activity for at least 60 minutes every day.

Izzy mused: 'I love keeping active with my family, but looking for activities that keep my children entertained and moving can sometimes feel like a challenge – especially for the duration of the summer holidays.

'I know that my children move more when they are having fun, which is why I’ve really enjoyed being involved in the Ready, Steady, Play series. I know my kids certainly loved it!'
