Timothee Chalamet has gone from strength to strength in his acting career so far. And now he’s fronting the latest edition of Time magazine.

For his cover story, Chalamet reveals the best acting advice he ever received, as reported by yahoo! entertainment.

“One of my heroes — I can’t say who or he’d kick my a** — he put his arm around me the first night we met and gave me some advice. ‘No hard drugs — and no superhero movies,’” Chalamet said.

“It’s a combination of luck and getting good advice early in my career,” he continued. “Not to pigeonhole myself.”

“I’m figuring it out. On my worst days, I feel a tension in figuring it out. But on my best days, I feel like I’m growing right on time.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Chalamet was asked for his thoughts on the rape allegations against Armie Hammer – his former co-star from the film, Call Me by Your Name.

“I totally get why you’re asking me that, but it’s a question worthy of a larger conversation, and I don’t want to give you a partial response.”

While we may never know exactly who it was that gave Chalamet the advice, we do know that the star was spotted sinking espresso martinis earlier this year with Seinfeld legend, Larry David.

This rare celebrity pairing occurred around the time of the 2021 Met Gala, when Chalamet was in New York City for the event.

David was not in attendance at the Met Gala, however after his performance at a recent New York Fashion Week runway, it’s probably safe to say that he couldn’t think of anything worse.

What were they talking about? A new show? A new movie? How horrible Fashion Week is? We’ll probably never know but that’s okay because the internet’s speculations definitely make up for it.
