We talk about watches a lot here at Esquire. Like, a lot. That's because we love watches, and we know you do, too. Plus, there's so much out there to appreciate, from high-end horological concoctions dreamed up in Switzerland to easy-to-wear, everyday options that cost about as much as your last bar tab. With those offerings on the table—not to mention everything in the wide gap between them—how do you not talk about watches? You simply have to.

But talking only goes so far. Sometimes, you want to go one better and conjure something entirely new into the universe. So that's what we did. As part of our ongoing partnership with Bespoke Post, the Esquire crew was offered the opportunity to work with Columbia on an exclusive version of the outdoor brand's Crestview three-hand field watch. We jumped at the opportunity. How could we not?

The Crestview has everything that we love about an everyday watch. It's simple, highly functional, rugged in all the right ways but still easy to wear to all but the most formal of events. (And even then, we just so happen to think it might look really great with a tux.) The 42mm case with an offset crown at 4 o'clock sits very comfortably on the wrist, and the nylon strap—in olive with a hit of orange down the middle, and chosen by our editors—will stand up to day after day, month after month of wear.

Then there's the dial. Uncluttered. Elegant in its utility. Done up in a cream color (also an Esquire editors' pick) that's a welcome departure from all the blues and grays and blacks you see on watch faces today. It's the kind of thing that's just plain nice to look at, which is handy, because this is a watch, and looking at it is kind of a crucial part of the experience.

The combination of that dial color and the two-tone strap complementing it is only available from one spot: Bespoke Post. Initially, we were only going to include it in our Issue Two box, which you can read about here and buy right here. But because we like you, and because we're so damn happy about our new creation, Bespoke Post decided to offer it as a standalone purchase. If you're in the market—and if you ask us, you should be—it's available now, but in limited quantities. The clock (er, well, the watch) is ticking, folks.
