A three-bedroom, 2.5-bath concrete bunker house in Princeton has garnered a lot of attention on Twitter with its unique look inside and out.

The 2,760-square-foot contemporary, located at 166 Wheeler Road, is an earth-sheltered terra dome built in 2005. It sits on 11.59 wooded acres and has hit the market for $640,000.

The roof is covered with grass.

“I’ve always wanted to mow my roof,” Zillow Gone Wild tweeted.

Although the house is built with concrete and is bunker style, it features 8-foot ceilings with skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The building is also energy efficient, which means that the house will naturally cool in the summer and will keep in heat during the winter, thanks to insulated windows and doors. Some on Twitter who saw the listing were also concerned about the concrete floors being cold during the winter, but the house has radiant floor heating that will keep them warm.

The spacious living room spans approximately 30 feet across, according to the listing, which describes it as “room enough to serve as a banquet, dance hall, or an evil genius secret laboratory.” Aside from the skylight, the ceilings also mimic that of a cathedral. Beyond the living room are two sliding doors to a kitchen with granite countertops, double wall ovens, and a high-end fridge.

One Twitter user compared the bunker-style home to the Endor shield generator bunker from “Star Wars,” while the listing itself compares it to a building straight out of a James Bond movie

The house was listed on Sept. 29 and last sold for $459,500 in 2019, according to Zillow.
