Southampton have a critical stretch of matches coming up as they search for their first premier league win of the season before it is too late.

Saints, by no means, have had an easy stretch of schedule so far this season but there have been a few matches they should have won and should be sitting on a few more points than they have right now.

They did manage to take points of Manchester City, Manchester United, and West Ham who are all great teams this season. Now it is time for them to step up and start winning matches. Let us take a look at the next 5 league matches and where they can win.

Southampton vs Leeds

This is the first match the Saints will have after the international break and it comes against a Leeds team that is struggling to score and struggling to stop goals. Leeds have conceded 14 goals this season and have only scored 7.

This will be a fantastic chance for the Saints to see some balls go in the back of the net and score 2 or 3 in this match. I think confidence has a lot to do with the lack of goal-scoring so far this season and getting 3 in a match could change that in a heartbeat.

Leeds are always dangerous on the counter and if the Saints can limit the number of opportunities they get to counter it will go a long way towards winning this match.

Predicted Score

Southampton 2 – 2 Leeds
