This Halloween Decoration Has Aldi Shoppers Cracking Up

The United States is home to more than 2,000 Aldi grocery stores (via Scrapehero), and if you have yet to visit the one closest to your house, we have one question for you: What are you waiting for? The German supermarket prides itself on providing customers with high-quality products at astoundingly low prices, and while that may sound too good to be true, most, if not all, Aldi shoppers will happily vouch for the chain. On top of saving you a considerable amount of cash when restocking your refrigerator, Aldi also states on its website that it aims for "quick and efficient service" so you can get in and out of the store as fast as possible.

However, its ever-changing selection of unique seasonal products might have you perusing the aisles for a bit longer than you initially intended. Halloween cheeses and ceramic pumpkins are two examples of fall-themed items currently stocked at the supermarket that shoppers are going crazy for — and that's just the beginning of what a trip to Aldi during the month of October has in store.

As you can see, there are plenty of reasons to pay this fan-favorite grocery store a visit, but if you still aren't convinced, maybe the hilarious scene that one Redditor recently spotted at their local Aldi store will do the trick.

Aldi shoppers love this store's hilariously spooky set up

There's no shortage of Halloween-themed items at Aldi this October, but recently, one of the chain's locations took spooky season beyond its shelves. Taking to the grocery store's subreddit page on October 10, Redditor u/dynasty1389 delighted fellow shoppers by sharing the above snap of one of the checkout stations at their local Aldi, where a uniform-clad skeleton sat behind the register. Reddit users had zero bones to pick with the "humerus" setup, which has earned more than 560 upvotes and several comments since being posted on the social platform. "I heard they were short-staffed but that's ridiculous," u/ShelteringInStPaul joked, while another user teased that "Aldi just likes to run a skeleton crew." A third wrote that having the spooky cashier might give them an opportunity to "beat an Aldi employee getting my stuff on the belt." A fourth Redditor likened the situation to how they felt checking out at any other grocery store.

If we did not already have enough reasons to shop at Aldi, this location's hilarious Halloween decor would certainly persuade us to make the trip. If you are one of the few that have not shopped there yet, now might be the perfect time to give the grocery store a try. You never know what — or who — you might find.
