Ravens vs. Colts: Play of the Game

Vote for your favorite play from last night’s win!

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Ravens treated us to another thrilling, highlight-filled game last night. Fortunately, it once again resulted in a victory, as the Ravens defeated the Colts by a score of 31-25 in overtime.

Baltimore put up over 500 of offense and four touchdowns, so as you’d expect, there was more than a few notable plays from the game. Most of them came from an action-packed second half, where the Ravens overcame a 19-point deficit.

Check out all the top plays from last night’s win and vote for your favorite below!

Odafe Oweh sack and forced fumble: The only bright spot of the first half came from standout rookie Odafe Oweh, who continues to be a force week after week. Oweh made a huge play late in the first quarter, getting around the edge to sack Carson Wentz and poke the ball loose. This came in the red zone after the Colts had already scored and were driving down the field with ease. Oweh seems to love the bright lights of primetime.

Marquise Brown 43-yard touchdown catch: The Ravens did not score a touchdown until there was a minute remaining in the third quarter, but it was a big one. Marquise Brown, who had just three catches for 23 yards at this point, shook an unfortunate Colts’ defender and got loose along the right boundary. Jackson, for the second week in a row, found him deep for a 40+ yard touchdown delivery.

Mark Andrews 5-yard touchdown catch: Mark Andrews entered Week 5 still looking for his first touchdown catch of the season. Positive regression was due to come at some point. It just so happened to come when the Ravens needed him to score the most, trailing by 16 points in the fourth quarter. Andrews snagged a five-yard reception in the end zone and then followed it up by catching a two-point conversion on the following play.

Calais Campbell field goal block: Calais Campbell has been a force all season long. He made his biggest play of the season on Monday night and changed the course of this game late in the fourth quarter. This blocked field goal kept the Ravens’ comeback hopes alive. Not all heroes wear capes — some wear No. 93 for the Ravens.

Mark Andrews 4-yard touchdown catch: After catching his first touchdown of the 2021 season on the previous drive, Andrews added the deuce with under a minute left in the game. This time, instead of just cutting into the deficit, his touchdown and again another two-point conversion catch tied the game at 25-25.

Marquise Brown 5-yard touchdown catch: “Hollywood” always shows out in primetime on the big stage. After scoring the Ravens’ first touchdown of the game earlier via the 43-yard catch, he closed the deal and said goodnight with this reception in overtime.
