Victoria Beckham almost exclusively wears pieces from her own collections. At the moment, the designer is making her way through the Resort 2022 edit, the first since she announced the merging of her ready-to-wear and sub-labels. “We’ve spoken so much over the last 18 months about our wardrobe, how we want to shop, how we want to spend, and there’s a real sweet spot there,” she told British Vogue’s fashion critic Anders Christian Madsen back in June.
VB has found a “sweet spot” with her own wardrobe, too. “I want more ease now, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a strong look,” she explained. Exhibit A: look 19 from the Resort collection, which she wore in New York this week. She accessorised her navy trench coat and smart checked trousers with a maroon and white Hermès Kelly bag, pepped up with a silky scarf tied to the handle.
For off-duty occasions, Posh has also been known to channel Sporty Spice in athletic gear from her Reebok X Victoria Beckham line. Prior to her chic NYC moment, she posted a video of her dancing to Kanye West’s “Fade,” while her daughter Harper spritzes her with glitter body spray. Just another way VB is incorporating “ease” into her life right now.
