MLB Trade Rumors projected what each arbitration-eligible player will make this winter.

It remains unclear whether Aaron Boone will return as Yankees skipper next season, with his contract expiring after the World Series. If he does leave the Bronx, the Padres could look to hire him as their next manager.

The Red Sox bounced the Rays from the playoffs with a 6-5 walk-off win in Game 4 of the ALDS. After scoring five runs in the third but letting Tampa Bay back into the game, Kiké Hernandez won it with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth. They are the first team to advance in the 2021 postseason.

Bryan Hoch of MLB.com looked at five reasons for Boston beating Tampa Bay in the ALDS.

Molly Burkhardt tried to determine who Boston should be rooting for between Chicago and Houston.

Speaking of which, the Astros will have to wait until today to try and clinch, as their game against the White Sox was rained out. They lead the best-of-five series 2-1.

The Giants shut out the Dodgers 1-0 to take a 2-1 lead in the NLDS. They will try to advance tonight.

This Date in Mets History

The Mets dismantled the Dodgers 13-7 in the first postseason game in Citi Field history, which occured on this date in 2015. The big blast was a three-run shot off the bat of Yoenis Cespedes in the fourth inning, which gave New York a 10-3 lead and provided us with one of the most epic bat flips ever.
