Like I said above this could be his return storyline Phil could easily just be assuming his dead rather then actually know his dead
Yeah if he was to leave that would be pretty pointless to have brought in DeMarcus but who knows maybe Richard decided to leave as they brought in DeMarcus?

We have to go by her reaction because obviously we didn’t see and going by her reaction he’s dead. Now yes if they did want to bring him back they would find a way but it would have to be a recast in which case why didn’t they just do that when Richard left.
These producers have decided he's dead. The next one or so will probably decide he's alive in a 'shock twist'.
