Violent posters against Petoskey found in Cadillac High School

WEXFORD COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A viewer contacted UpNorthLive News upset over a series of posters put up inside Cadillac High School before the Vikings football game with Petoskey on Friday.

The drawings sent to us depicted acts of violence against Petoskey football players.
They included a severed head and a player being beaten with a brick.
A statement from Cadillac Public Schools Superintendent states:
"The posters at Cadillac High School were removed and the situation has been addressed." Superintendent Brown has been in communication with Petoskey's Superintendent Mr. Chris Parker and apologized. "We have high expectations for our staff and students at Cadillac Area Public School and do not condone violence."

Cadillac did win against the Big North Conference rival Petoskey 35-0 in Friday's game.
