The latest Star Trek spin-off, Star Trek: Prodigy, has expanded its already impressive cast, with stars from the likes of Hamilton, The Good Place, and Seinfeld joining the series.
Ahead of Prodigy's premiere later this month, the animated spin-off announced a host of new names set to make their Trek debut at a recent New York Comic Con event.
The Paramount+ series – which will mark the return of Kate Mulgrew's Captain Kathryn Janeway – will welcome aboard Daveed Diggs, Jameela Jamil, Jason Alexander, and Robert Beltran to its already impressive voice cast, Deadline is reporting.

Diggs is set to voice Commander Tysess, Jamil will voice Ensign Asencia, and Alexander will voice Doctor Noum. Beltran, who appeared on Star Trek: Voyager, will reprise his role as Captain Chakotay.
Kicking things off with a one-hour episode on October 28 in the US, Star Trek: Prodigy follows a group of lawless teens who have been exiled on a mining colony outside Federation space.

When the group stumble across a derelict Starfleet ship, they must gather an unlikely, rag-tag crew if they want to escape.
It was previously confirmed that iconic Voyager and Nemesis character Captain Janeway will appear as a hologram, with Orange Is the New Black's Kate Mulgrew thrilled to be back in the Trek universe.
Speaking about her return, Mulgrew admitted recently: "Star Trek is never far from me. Janeway defined an era for me, and as it turns out, the rest of my life... I love her.
"When a character defines a part of her life, you are in turn greatly deeply, which I am. She has never left me and I am thrilled to be back and to be introducing this to children."
Star Trek: Discovery airs on Paramount+ in the US and Netflix internationally, including the UK.
