Gucci has taken to Instagram to tease the release of a new COMME des GARÇONS release to celebrate the luxury brand’s 100th-anniversary.

For their centennial year, Gucci is working on a series of collaborative projects, including their forthcoming Aria collection with fellow luxury fashion house Balenciaga and its Mattel‘s Hot Wheels mini Cadillac Seville collectible car. Gucci has recently unveiled an online concept store named the Vault. The retail experience functions as both a digital archive for the brand and an e-commerce site.

Gucci posted to their Instagram story a new upcoming collab with fellow design house COMME des GARÇONS, seemingly bringing back a new rendition of its popular co-branded tote bags as a part of their centennial celebration. Its first co-branded PVC totes featuring Gucci’s famous green and red stripe detail overlaying the COMME des GARÇONS logo was released in 2018.

The new COMME des GARÇONS tote bag will launch exclusively on Gucci Vault on Friday, October 15.

Elsewhere in fashion, Edison Chen has teased a Squid Game x Emotionally Unavailable collaboration.
