When Lamar Jackson retires, we'll all sit back and reminisce about the amazing things we saw him do.
Monday, October 11th, 2021 will have a prominent place in those discussions.
The Ravens quarterback threw for 442 yards and 4 touchdowns, leading them to a 31-25 victory in overtime.
The games was all Indy in the first half. Colts quarterback Carson Wentz threw touchdowns on 76 and 42 yards as Indianapolis built a 22-3 lead with a minute left in the third quarter.
That's when Lamar stepped into the spotlight.
He hit Marquise Brown with a 43 yard touchdown pass to end the third quarter, It was 22-9.
Fourth quarter. He engineered two drives that led to Mark Andrews touchdown catches. Jackson also hit Andrews with a two point conversion that tied the game at 25 and sent it into overtime.
Andrews was spectacular, catching 11 passing for 147 yards, those two TDs and that crucial conversion.
In the extra period, Jackson stepped up again, putting together a 10 play 69 yard drive that culminated in a Jackson touchdown pass to brown.
It was nothing short of amazing.
