Carlo Ancelotti seems open to the idea of giving every player a new lease of life at Real Madrid and that will certainly benefit a few fringe players in the upcoming months of the new season.

Some turnarounds are there for all to see and Vinicius Junior is the perfect example. From a player who was just a hope for the future to being a goal-getter in chief to Karim Benzema, the Brazilian’s improvement in form as soon as Carlo Ancelotti took over is no coincidence.

The same can be said about Marco Asensio, who scored a hat-trick on his first start of the season against Mallorca last month. While some fans labeled the islanders as an inferior side, Madrid did lose to them in 2019/20 and such kinds of teams must be beaten convincingly on the route to LaLiga’s summit. A 10 or 15 goal return from Asensio would be seen as a wide success.

While two players have drastically improved and Isco has also shown signs of finding his feet, some players are still improving and it is looking like they will be back in the form the club associates them with sooner rather than later. Which are the three players who can turn their careers around at Real Madrid under Ancelotti for the remainder of the season?

EDEN HAZARD

Eden Hazard has finally looked like his old self in recent matches and has put his fitness issues behind him, which involved getting the better of a hamstring scare on international duty last week as well. Carlo Ancelotti knows that the player is performing incredibly well and only needs continuity in minutes to get goals and assists, as well as boost his self-confidence by a big margin.

The Belgium international has shown that he is compatible in a free-roaming role on the pitch beside Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior, both, and during the upcoming fixtures, Hazard could be utilized in such a capacity. Although he has played exceedingly well recently, goals and assists are eventually the measure of a forward’s success, not least one of his qualities and attributes.

Under Ancelotti, Hazard has a widely experienced tactician as well as Antonio Pintus, who has got the better of his fitness issues in next to no time. Now it is up to the player to put on a show and send a message to his coach as well as fans, particularly the latter because they are some of the world’s most unforgiving and have been waiting for Hazard to get to his best for over two years.
