My Hy-Vee at Stony Brook is SO festive for Halloween! I just LOVE this time of year, and seeing all the pumpkins, and fall mums makes me giddy!
And buying cider and pumpkin bars at Hy-Vee….HEAVEN!
But I also really want to share something very special Hy-Vee is doing for those in need. It’s Hy-Vee’s Scan Out Hunger campaign.
The goal is raising enough for 5 million meals for those struggling to put food on the table. It’s so important now, and especially as we head into the holidays. Food pantries are already burdened trying the meet the needs of families hit hard by the pandemic. In addition to your donations, Hy-Vee is donating $150,000 dollars to the Feeding America campaign that directly helps local food banks.
