Legends of Tomorrow lost another main cast member by the end of its sixth season last month, but this time it was Dominic Purcell, one of the DC show's original team members.
His character Mick Rory left the time-travelling team after he became pregnant and grew some egg babies in his head (it's that kind of show), deciding to focus on his family.
Announcing his exit earlier this year, Purcell explained that he was stepping down as a series regular, but that he would still return "periodically".

Speaking about the Legends veteran's departure in an interview with SyFy Wire, co-showrunner Keto Shimizu said: "As with any exit – and we've had many, you know, of people from this show – you think maybe initially that there would be a big void there.
"That suddenly there would be, you know, it would feel like a loss. And we miss that character a lot. I mean, he was great, and so beloved for us to write and for Dominic's portrayal. We absolutely loved it.
"With all the departures that we've had on this show, the show moves on and grows from that loss, and new characters come in to sort of fill that space, and new dynamics are formed that kind of complement what was there before – but also, I think, ultimately enhance it."

Shimizu concluded: "So I do think that we miss him. We loved that character very much. But I think, as with all the losses our show has experienced, we move on."
Season six also saw the departure of fan-favourite John Constantine, but thankfully for the viewers, Matt Ryan is returning as a completely different character in the 1920s-set seventh season. The show dropped a first look at his new character last week.
Legends of Tomorrow airs on The CW in the US. It airs on Sky Max and NOW in the UK.
