Could it be safe to say you haven't REALLY been entertained until you've been entertained at a Reba McEntire concert?

REBA AND RAIN

I've seen her a number of times, but the last time was in Roberts Stadium in Evansville, so that gives you some idea of how long ago it's been.

In 1991, the WBKR air staff got decked out in tuxedos for her appearance that year. I'm not sure why we rented tuxedos, but we did. And Reba made mention of how snazzy we all looked when we were backstage at the meet and greet. And it was raining that night.

It was raining--historically, I might add--when she performed at Roberts Stadium in 1997 with Brooks & Dunn. It was the night of the '97 flood and we were a bunch of drenched staffers greeting the three of them in the green room. What is it with Reba concerts and rain?

REBA AND RUPP

Anyway, you might want to take an umbrella with you to Rupp Arena when Reba McEntire brings her 2022 Reba: Live in Concert tour to Lexington on January 28th, 2022. Lots of entertainers have postponed concerts for so long now, because of COVID-19--Reba and her boyfriend even had it--so it's great to have a big one to which we can look forward.

And, honestly, Reba just OWNS any stage she's on. Plus, there's the added fun of playing "Count the Costume Changes."

Tickets for Reba: Live in Concert will go on sale this Friday, October 15th, at 10 AM on her website and at livenation.com. In fact, you can set a presale reminder for yourself at bandsintown.com.

Reba's coming back to Kentucky and I know for a fact that it's an awesome experience.
