If you’re feeling fearful or lacking confidence, your water element may be out of balance. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, this flowing element is in charge of your bones and fluid—essential parts of your physical body. Keeping it in balance allows you to flow through change and disruption with ease and courage.

Knowing which element you primarily identify with (earth, air, water, fire, or ether) is important in knowing which practices to draw upon to help you stay in balance. Regardless of whether you strongly identify with the water element or not, this 45-minute yoga practice will center your mind and body through calming breathwork, energizing twisting postures, and softer forward folds, so you can feel grounded and in alignment.
