Mindy Kaling is a cool parent, and she wants everyone to know.
Kaling, 42, gave her 6 million followers an insider’s glimpse of her daughter Katherine’s $22,950 swing set, sharing pictures of her three-year-old looking out over the play set from under a ladybug umbrella on Friday.
“Remember that one friend that had the coolest backyard and everyone wanted to hang out there all the time? Well, now I’m the cool parent with the cool backyard,” she tweeted when she first teased CedarWorks’ Serendipity 357 playhouse in May 2019 on Twitter.
The wooden castle decorated in blue and red with birds, hearts and stars has two turrets and a grand arch with two traditional poly swings and a horse-like swing underneath.
The customizable swing sets also come with a rock-climbing wall, a slide, a spyglass, a bucket that can be pulled up and down by a rope and a play steering wheel, according to the CedarWorks website.
“We enjoyed working with Mindy’s team, and that is one of our favorite sets. It’s really fun every time we get a peek of it in one of her posts because it seems like she and her family are getting a lot of enjoyment out of it,” a CedarWorks representative told The Post.
The playset is located at her $6.5 million Los Angeles home near the Wilshire Country Club, satellite images show.
The 5,000-square-foot house, which she bought in 2016, has five bedrooms and five bathrooms on a half-acre lot. In addition to the playhouse, the estate offers a pool, a pool house, tall privacy hedges and entertaining areas, according to Realtor.com.
“When it rained for that very short amount of time, it was the most exciting thing that ever happened in our house,” “The Office” writer and actress captioned the rare Instagram photo, which also included a picture of her daughter on the couch inside the house.
The “Scooby-Doo” star has two children — three-year-old Katherine and one-year-old Spencer Kaling. Kaling, who is not married and is keeping her baby daddy’s identity private, owns several homes including Frank Sinatra’s former Malibu beach house, which she bought for $9 million in March 2020.
In only one month, the B.J. Novak pal will launch her HBO show “The Sex Lives of College Girls” starring Dylan Sprouse. The 42-year-old is also known for her show “The Mindy Project” and her book “Is everyone hanging out without me? (And other concerns).”
A representative for Kaling did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
