The Columbus Blue Jackets made four moves prior to the National Hockey League's 5 p.m. ET deadline to submit its 23-man roster for the opening of the 2021-22 season, club General Manager and Alternate Governor Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

The Blue Jackets have placed right wing Trey Fix-Wolansky (knee) on the Injured/Non-Roster list. Columbus has also assigned center Kevin Stenlund along with defensemen Gabriel Carlsson and Mikko Lehtonen to the Cleveland Monsters, the club's American Hockey League affiliate.
The Blue Jackets' 23-man roster includes: Forwards (14) - 7 Sean Kuraly, 14 Gustav Nyquist, 15 Gregory Hofmann, 16 Max Domi, 28 Oliver Bjorkstrand, 29 Patrik Laine, 34 Cole Sillinger, 38 Boone Jenner, 42 Alexandre Texier, 50 Eric Robinson, 52 Emil Bemstrom, 59 Yegor Chinakhov, 93 Jakub Voracek and 96 Jack Roslovic; Defense (7) - 2 Andrew Peeke, 4 Scott Harrington, 8 Zach Werenski, 22 Jake Bean, 27 Adam Boqvist, 44 Vladislav Gavrikov and 46 Dean Kukan; and Goaltenders (2) - 70 Joonas Korpisalo and 90 Elvis Merzlikins.
The Blue Jackets open their 21st regular season vs. the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday, October 14. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast live on Bally Sports Ohio and streamed on the Bally Sports app. The game may also be heard on the Blue Jackets Radio Network, including Sports Radio 97.1 FM in Columbus.
