Ravens, Under Armour partner to bring girls' flag football to Maryland high schools

Girls' flag football will be coming soon to high schools across Maryland as part of a push for equality on the gridiron by the Baltimore Ravens and Under Armour Inc.The Ravens will provide $250,000 over five years to the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletics Association for the development of high school girls' flag football programs. The goal is to launch the first girls' flag season in 2022.Baltimore-based Under Armour, which already outfits the vast majority of high school football teams in Maryland, will provide custom uniforms for each high school team.The MPSSAA, which annually administers programs for over 111,000 participants from 199 public schools across the state, will institute the league's rules and facilitate all field setup, uniform guidelines, game official framework and other areas of operation.Read the full story from our partners at the Baltimore Business Journal
