Timothée Chalamet is definitely one of Hollywood's most bankable stars right now and his popularity continues to grow. At only 25, Chalamet has already proven his star power, appearing in critically acclaimed flicks like Little Women, Call Me By Your Name, and now the upcoming Dune remake. We still don't know what his next big career move will be but a lot of fans have been clamoring for him to become part of huge superhero franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe.
However, Timothée recently opened up about the idea and according to him, one of his "heroes" in the industry gave him a piece of advice about diving into the world of comic book films. In a special feature on Time, the actor revealed that a colleague of his which he refused to name once told him not to do superhero films.
Chalamet shared: "One of my heroes, I can't say who or he'd kick my ass, he put his arm around me the first night we met and gave me some advice; ‘No hard drugs and no superhero movies'."

Obviously, Chalamet didn't exactly follow the advice his "hero" gave him as he previously auditioned to become the MCU's Spider-Man, a role that eventually went to Tom Holland. Interestingly, both actors were also in the running for the Willy Wonka prequel project which ended up with Chalamet. I guess it's Even Steven for the two. As for Chalamet being part of a superhero franchise, I think it's pretty safe to say at this point that it's bound to happen.
Meanwhile, Dune will be released in theaters and on HBO Max this October 22nd.
