Lane Kiffin offered an update about RB Jerrion Ealy ahead of Ole Miss’ game with Tennessee this week. Ealy is trying to come back from a concussion suffered in the Alabama game that caused him to miss last week’s game with Arkansas.

Ealy finished the Alabama game with 9 carries for 16 yards and 2 catches for one yard, which was an unusual game for the gamebreaker.

“We hope that he plays,” Kiffin said Monday. Credit to the offensive players who stepped up and scored 52 points against a really good defense. Three starters out was big.”

Overall this season, Ealy has 40 carries for 204 yards and a touchdown, which is an average of 5.1 yards per attempt this season. He also has 8 catches for 79 yards.
