The Indianapolis Colts finally got back on track with their first win last week, a much needed win after an 0-3 start. With great performances from key players in Carson Wentz and Jonathan Taylor, as well as a clean, efficient day from the defense against the shorthanded Miami Dolphins, it sets the tone for an intense fight for this upcoming Monday Night contest against the Baltimore Ravens.

Wentz had a sterling 75% completion rate, to go along with 228 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions, while Taylor ran for his first 100-yard game of the year on only 16 carries, while also finding the end zone.

The Ravens, meanwhile, are sitting pretty at 3-1 having only lost a brutally close overtime match with the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1. Despite losing stars like Marcus Peters, as well as their top three running backs, Baltimore has remained vigilant and looks to be a contender once again in 2021.

This game will be pivotal for both teams, but more-so for Indy, who has 3 difficult matchups over the next 4 weeks. Who will come out on top? Here are 4 bold predictions for this Week 5 primetime matchup.

Colts Week 5 Predictions

4. Mo Alie-Cox stays hot

Though the Ravens defense shut down the Broncos for only 7 points last week, Noah Fant was still able to get his, as he finished with 6 catches for 46 yards and a touchdown. Alie-Cox is a similarly athletic, big-bodied tight end who can take advantage of the Baltimore defense, and he'll continue to stay hot after his 2 touchdown performance last week. Opportunities will be there as the Ravens key in on Michael Pittman and Zach Pascal, which will lead to a big game from Cox.

3. Darius Leonard notches sack, interception

Leonard, the two-time All-Pro linebacker, has been relatively quiet on the stat sheet thus far, but his on-field impact certainly surpasses what a simple box score will tell you. He's the lynchpin of the Colts defense, and has the potential to explode for a big game against Lamar Jackson. He'll be tasked with trying to contain the dual-threat QB, and Lamar rarely has to face linebackers of Leonard's caliber. Because of that, Leonard will be able to hunt down Jackson in the backfield and bait him for a huge interception late in the game.

2. Jonathan Taylor amasses 150 yards from scrimmage

Taylor has had a quiet year relative to the lofty expectations many placed upon him coming into the year, but that could all change this week. Though his start to 2020 pales in comparison to his monster finish to 2020, he enters Monday Night on the heels of a 103-yard, touchdown effort. Carson Wentz will have to get the ball out early against this aggressive Ravens defense, which means plenty of quick action for Taylor on the ground and through the air. Big game incoming.

1. Colts roar back, fall just shy of comeback victory

Though the Ravens will jump out early to a big lead on the backs of their dominant ground game, the Colts are a team that can slowly figure things out and kick their offense into high gear seemingly out of nowhere. That will lead to dramatics for this marquee matchup on Monday, but the Colts will fall just short, as Rodrigo Blankenship can't muster the leg for a lengthy 50+ yard field goal.

PREDICTION: Ravens 27, Colts 25
