Every week the Epic Games Store gives out a free game. Usually it doesn’t get quite this much attention. PC Building Simulator is free to download this week through October 14, and has already been claimed over 2.5 million times, including hitting one million claims in the first three hours.

People are actually playing, too, to the tune of 1500% growth in concurrent players. It’s the game’s biggest week ever, and it launched back on Steam in 2018!

To take advantage of this explosive popularity, Epic and developer The Irregular Corporation are discounting all the workshop DLC packs by 10%, and 50% off the Esports Expansion. If you already purchased them, you can receive a partial refund to take advantage of the new discounts.

PC Building Simulator is one part management sim as you run your own computer repair company. The other part is learning how to build, repair, and modify personal computers using actual computer parts in the 3D simulator. Thanks to dozens of partnerships, you can use actual, licensed hardware from big companies such as NVidia, MSI, Razer, Intel, and Cooler Master.

PC Building Simulator is free to download and keep forever via the Epic Games Store, ending Thursday, October 14. It’s also available on Steam, and normally priced at $19.99.
