Elaine Welteroth is “totally pregnant.”
The former co-host of “The Talk” took to Instagram on Monday to reveal that she and her husband, Jonathan Singletary, are expecting their first child together.
In a video announcing the news, Welteroth, 34, shared footage from recent doctor’s appointments, including the exact moment a nurse confirmed she was pregnant.
“New creative collab with @jonathansingletary dropping spring 2022 #JesusTookTheWheel,” she joked in the caption. “Lullaby by my baby daddy-to-be 💕🥰🎢🙏🏽❤️🪂🎶.”
The video also featured footage from Welteroth’s second ultrasound, in which she sweetly suggested that her unborn baby already has her husband’s nose.
“I’m freaking out right now. This baby looks exactly like Jonathan,” she exclaimed.
Welteroth married singer-songwriter Singletary on the stoop of their Brooklyn brownstone in May 2020 after a three-year engagement, multiple outlets reported at the time.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, their wedding plans had to be altered several times.
Not only did the couple broadcast the ceremony live online for at least 200 family and friends, but they were also joined by their neighbors from their respective stoops for a block party celebration.
This is the first marriage – and will be the first child – for them both.
