Nearly half of all Maryland men lose their hair by fifty. Here’s what you can do to prevent it.

Hair loss is something we all have to deal with at some point in our lives. While most people only have to deal with hair loss in a small capacity. Some of us are left with permanent hair loss, which affects our confidence and mental health.

If you have started to lose your hair and you’re not ready to say goodbye, here are five tips for growing more robust, healthier hair in the face of adversity.

Five tips for stronger, healthier hair

There are multiple things you can do if you start to experience hair loss in your life. Here are our five favorites.

1 – Hair Folli

While there are multiple products out there to strengthen and thicken here, we cannot recommend Hair Folli highly enough. They have created a tailored blend of ingredients and put it into shampoo, conditioner, and serum form, all of which aim to regrow some of your last hair. Their products are great smelling and come from Australia. Reviewers say that there is no better product for hair loss.

2 – Biotin

If you start to lose your hair and are desperate to keep it, you may want to try some supplementation. There are multiple vitamins and minerals used in hair regrowth. However, it is estimated that biotin is the most effective. A 2017 study showed that biotin could be used to promote the growth of hair and nails. They reviewed 18 different cases in which biotin improved hair growth after use.

3 – Try Caffeine

Certain new shampoos on the market claim to use caffeine to stimulate the hair follicles and promote hair growth. However, a 2012 study has shown that there are beneficial effects of the topical application of caffeine for alopecia sufferers. The improvement is attributed to barrier function, follicular penetration, and the stimulation and promotion of hair growth.

4 – Get a Massage

If we wanted to stimulate growth or rejuvenation on any other part of the body, we would be advertising the use of massage to do so. For some reason, when it comes to our scalp, we seem reluctant to get scalp massages. Some hairdressers offer the service as a standard part of a haircut because they know it is beneficial to the client. Try investing in a scalp massager and using it daily to see if it makes an impact on your oncoming baldness.

5 – Don’t Overwork it

Don’t wash your hair too often[1]. Don’t brush your hair when it’s wet. Instead, do news heavy conditioners and shampoos, which can lead to further love. Try using a detangling brush instead of a normal one. When drying your hair, don’t rub it vigorously with a towel. Instead, try patting it dry. Avoid Excessive product use whenever possible. If you can follow these simple instructions, you should see a big difference in your hair thickness and quality within weeks.
