The matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers was one of the most wild contests of the NFL weekend. Green Bay emerged victorious in overtime but not before both kickers, Mason Crosby of the Packers and Evan McPherson of the Bengals missed five consecutive field goals in the 4th quarter and overtime.

Following the game, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was taken to the hospital for a possible throat contusion. Now, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the young star quarterback has been released and is fine.

Burrow took some brutal shots against the Packers and at one point, it appeared he may have suffered some sort of leg injury following a hit from Darnell Savage. His head hit the turf pretty hard on that same play and some speculated he may not return to the contest. Instead, Burrow was right back on the field for the next drive for the Bengals.

The loss dropped Cincinnati to 3-2 on the season but the Bengals have looked really good so far compared to what many of the external expectations were entering the season.

It's good news for the Bengals that Burrow is fine and he, along with Cincinnati, will look to bounce back in Week 6 when they make a trip to Detroit to take on the Lions.
