Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will soon return for a fresh episode, and it will be a tough one for the Seventh Hokage. In Episode 220, Naruto has to decide if he would sacrifice his son Boruto who remains a vessel for Momoshiki Otsusuki.

The official trailer of Episode 220 reveals that Naruto will have a meeting with the other leaders. The meeting is difficult for Naruto because the other leaders ask him if he will take down his son, Boruto, since he remains a vessel for Momoshiki Otsutsuki.
Momoshiki has taken over Boruto's consciousness on a couple of occasions already. And it has become a significant concern for the Konohagakure and other countries.
Boruto is already 80 percent Otsusuki and only has a little time left before he transforms into an Otsusuki or Momoshiki revives. If Momoshiki revives, he will feed Kawaki to 10 tails as a sacrifice, and it will be the end with the Divine Tree revival, Media Scrolls noted.
Will Naruto sacrifice his son?
Meanwhile, another threat is on the way. Code worship Isshiki Otsusuki as God, and he was disheartened to find him dead. He will surely avenge his death, and it won't be easy for Boruto and the others because Code is even stronger than Isshiki Otsusuki himself.
Code was revealed to be Isshiki's "one and only successor." However, he has bad karma and cannot be a vessel to Otsusuki. But, he still has its powers and can use them to carry on Isshiki's will.

In Boruto Episode 219, titled Return, Boruto attempted to use his Karma to use Space-Time Transportation to return to hidden leaf village with Naruto, Sasuke, and Kawaki. However, he couldn't make it.
Kawaki confronted Boruto if he was scared that Momoshiki would take over his body if he used Karma. Boruto was terrified and was still not ready to use it. However, while he argued with Kawaki, his Karma was activated, and a portal opened so that they could return to the hidden leaf village.
