Concert news: Donnie Iris booked for Jergel's (Stephen Pearcy, too)
Donnie Iris & The Cruisers will play Jergel's Rhythm Grille over Thanksgiving weekend.
The Beaver County rock star and his band will headline an 8 p.m. Nov. 27 (Saturday) show at the Warrendale concert club. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. this Friday for $38 to $60 at eventbrite.com.
Iris and The Cruisers performed this past weekend at The Roxian Theatre in McKees Rocks.
Other Jergel's shows announced Monday by promoters Drusky Entertainment: Blues artist Ana Popovic on Feb. 1 (tickets $20-$32 on sale noon Friday), Stephen Pearcy, "The Voice of Ratt," Dec. 1 ($33 to $48 on sale noon Friday), California Guitar Trio on Nov. 16 (tickets $15-$25 on sale 10 a.m. Friday) and Tommy DeCarlo (of Boston) & Rudy Cardenas (of "American Idol") Nov. 17 ($25-$45 on sale 10 a.m. Friday).
More Drusky concert announcements: "American Idol" winner Maddie Poppe brings her acoustic holiday show to Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall on Dec. 5 (tickets on sale 10 a.m. Friday), XTC's Terry Chambers & Friends on April 2 at The Crafthouse in Baldwin, (tickets $22 to $34.50 on sale noon Friday).
Monday's concert news also included country star Reba McEntire confirming a previously set Feb. 17 show at PPG Paints Arena. The newly chosen opening act will be rising star Brittney Spencer.
