Odell Beckham Jr. hasn't quite made an impact worthy of his superstar status on the Cleveland Browns this season, and it appears that his role on the team isn't getting any better. Even without Jarvis Landry, who is sidelined with an injury, Beckham continues to struggle for production downfield. Baker Mayfield targeted Beckham Jr. just three times in the Browns' 47-42 road loss in Week 5 against Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers.

There were four players who got more looks from Mayfield in the Chargers game than OBJ, with tight end David Njoku surprisingly leading the team with 149 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven catches and seven targets. The Browns scored over 40 points and Mayfield passed for more than 300 yards, but somehow, Beckham got just minimal attention from his quarterback whom he's expressed trust and confidence in recently.

Beckham didn't even get talked about by Mayfield and Kevin Stefanski after the Chargers game. Via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Beckham, for whatever reason, has become an afterthought in the offense. Indeed, his name didn’t even come up during post-game press conferences conducted by coach Kevin Stefanski and Mayfield.

That could ultimately mean nothing for Beckham, but it's hard to imagine him being happy with his role on the Browns' offense.

Beckham and the Browns will look to bounce back in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals at home.
