Marvel Studios has released a featurette for Eternals that features some cool new footage from the movie. It also includes interviews with the cast and crew as they hype up the film and promise that this movie will be an MCU adventure unlike anything we've seen before. Sometime featurettes really aren’t that exciting, but this is one that you’ve definitely got to watch!

Producer Kevin Feige shared the movie will redefine the MCU saying, “The impact that The Eternals will have on the MCU will be nothing less than redefining the cinematic universe.” It’s going to be interesting to see how that exactly turns out.

The featurette also points out that half of the Eternals characters are “thinkers,” while the other half are “fighters.” It’s also explained that while they are a powerful team of heroes, they are also a dysfunctional family.

The story takes place across two time periods. “One storyline is set in the past when they operated as a formidable team and a close family unit. The second storyline is in the present, when the group has fractured and split apart, content to live among humans, hiding in plain sight. The prevailing threat of the Deviants, which once again threatens the existence of mankind, means the Eternals need to put their differences aside and regroup."

Marvel Studios producer Nate Moore says Eternals looks to explore another corner of the MCU that hasn't appeared yet. "We want audiences to discover a corner of the Marvel universe they've never seen before," Moore said. "We want them to discover a mythology that is a challenging sci-fi movie but also has a human heart. And we want them to meet ten heroes who they hopefully can relate to."

The impressive cast for the film includes Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, with Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.

The movie is directed by Chloé Zhao, and it opens in theaters on November 5th.
