Eternals is just a few weeks away from debuting in cinemas (earlier still, if you are going to the Rome Film Festival), with marketing for the movie ramping up.
This latest 30-second trailer contains a fair bit of footage we've seen before, but contains a few callbacks to Avengers: Endgame, the events of which set this film's plot in motion.
One callback to the Avengers films sees Richard Madden's Ikaris stating: "Eternals, assemble". The other actually re-uses footage from Endgame, but there's a difference.

The footage specifically focuses on Iron Man and Ant-Man, but for some reason they've had black dust added digitally that swirls around them ominously.
We're assuming this Endgame footage will be included in the full Eternals film with an explanation as to why they are covered in dust. Maybe it's because the characters survived the Snap and it's something to do with the Deviants. Maybe it's normal dust and the Eternals just have really good vision, like the way you can see dust on a surface when the sun shines through your window, but all the time.

Another recent Eternals trailer showed us some footage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first LGBTQ+ family, which is just adorable. The TV spot features Jack telling his dads, Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) and his husband (Haaz Sleiman), about watching Ikaris in full superhero action on television.
Eternals focuses on a group of super-powered individuals who have lived for many eons in hiding, and have to step out of the shadows to fight some monsters that have recently re-emerged. But will the question of why the Eternals didn't intervene to stop Thanos be addressed?
Eternals will be released in the US and the UK on November 5, 2021.
