The Jacksonville Jaguars are signing former second round selection Anthony Miller. Houston released Miller five days ago after trading two picks for him in the 2021 offseason.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Monday.
The #Jaguars are expected to sign former #Bears 2nd rounder and most recently #Texans WR Anthony Miller to their practice squad, source said. Would expect a promotion when he gets acclimated.

Miller was drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. After playing three seasons in Chicago, he was traded to the Texans for two picks, a fifth-rounder and seventh-rounder, both in 2022. He was subsequently released ahead of Week 5 of the 2021 season.
In 49 career games, Miller has racked up 1,587 yards on 139 receptions. He also added 12 touchdowns over his three-plus year career. The 0-5 Jaguars have now added him in hopes that they will find their first win of the season in Week 6.
