Megan Fox is following in her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly's footsteps and going blonde.

The star shared a selfie of the transformation to her Instagram, captioning the pic, "This is what the devil's daughter looks like." In the photo, Megan looks completely different; gone is her signature dark brunette hair, and in its place is silvery-white platinum with a smudge root, falling past her shoulders in long waves. While her hair renders her almost unrecognizable, the classic Megan look is still in place when it comes to her makeup: bold brows, lined eyes, and full, rosy lips.

Megan tagged her upcoming movie, Johnny and Clyde, in the pic, which leads us to believe that this hair color isn't permanent and is instead a very realistic wig. Megan's hairstylist Miles Jeffries also tagged Merria Dearman, an "artisan wigmaker," in his post of Megan's selfie, which basically confirms our suspicion that Megan hasn't gone blonde and is in fact just trying on the look as part of her role. (Megan's makeup was done by artist Clarissa Luna.)

According to Deadline, Johnny and Clyde is about "two eponymous serial killers who are madly in love and on an endless crime spree." Megan plays a crime boss named Alana who runs a "prosperous casino" — and it appears that Alana is a blonde!

Comments on Megan's post ran the gamut from those loving the look to others hoping it was a wig. "A sad day for brunettes everywhere," wrote one commenter. "Wait I thought this was Kim Kardashian," added another. The platinum hair probably won't be sticking around for too long, but regardless, Megan looks as glam when blonde as she does in her natural brunette.
