The latest look at their first years at the Patriots' helm -- Tom Brady (L) and Mac Jones (R)

The Patriots earned a much-needed win on Sunday against the Texans behind the quarterbacking of rookie Mac Jones.

GoLocal is tracking week-by-week performances -- the comparison of Tom Brady in 2001 versus Jones this season.

Brady’s first start was September 30, 2001. He had played in two prior games — one in 2000 where he did some mop-up work and, of course, the infamous Mo Lewis Jets game that injured New England's Drew Bledsoe and set the stage for NFL history.
