well, Ashland's carol Joy Holling camp is a serene destination for campers and for the first time it'll welcome families dealing with anxiety this saturday. But this morning we introduce you to the mom whose daughter started at all. I got her a text from her saying, Mom, it's, it's happening. I can't stop crying. Christina rushed to her daughter's school. It was Logan's first semester in public school. After home school. I think it was a bunch of little ingredients that made one big giant recipe. It felt like searching through the forest. The family eventually found the right therapist for child's anxiety, but not before getting the wrong. Help. Therapy is expensive and Christina realized she wasn't the only mom navigating murky waters. So she started the first family anxiety camp with carol joy hauling. It's here at the Dylan Lodge where families will spend part of their day with a therapist all the way from Nashville who made herself available for this camp, adolescent counselor. Sissy Goff says one in three kids are dealing with anxiety. I think one is technology, that is a significant piece of it. Um, also, I think kids feel more pressure than they've ever felt to not only perform, but really excel. And it's interesting because statistically girls are twice as likely as boys to deal with anxiety. The adolescent counselor will help you raise worry free kids and parents will break into small groups during the seven hour camp.
