Area fall festivals, contest and Halloween events

Macedonia

Halloween Trick-or-Treat is Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Macedonia.

In addition, the city will sponsor “Haunted Manor” a walk-through style Halloween event on the Longwood Manor property at Longwood Park on Oct. 16 from 2 to 5 p.m. 

Macedonia residents are encouraged to participate in the city's “Haunted Yard Contest,” where Macedonia residents can send us a picture of their decorated yard to win prizes. Contestants may submit their photo via Facebook or email recreation@macedonia.oh.us by Oct. 24. The winner will be chosen Oct. 25.

Sagamore Hills

Trick-or-Treat is Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Sagamore Hills Township.

Northfield Village

Trick-or-Treat is Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Northfield Village.

Northfield Center

Trick-or-Treat is Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Northfield Center.

Twinsburg

Twinsburg will have a Fall Family Festival Oct. 30 at Glen Chamberlin Park  from 1 to 4 p.m. The free afternoon event includes a Kid’s Zone, Big Game Sports Zone, Truck or Treat. Food will be available through preorder only, and a beer tent will be open all day.

Trick-or-Treat is Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Twinsburg.

Twinsburg Township

Reminderville

Trick-or-Treat is Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Reminderville

The city also will host a Kids Halloween Treat Bag Drive-Thru on Oct. 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. for Reminderville residents at Heritage Hall, 3601 Glenwood Blvd. Those wishing to come should stay in their vehicle, and follow the signs for a treat bag.
